Mahanakhon Building - Bangkok, Thailand

myminifactory

ยินดีต้อนรับสู่กรุงเทพ Welcome to Bangkok! This model was created by MiniWorld3D founder and lead 3D artist Dany Sánchez.  This entry includes 2 versions: •  No supports: split in halves, print each one lying down with the flat side on the print bed. You must glue after. •  Supported: print as regular, standing up, with supports to hold the cubes' overhangs.  The King Power Mahanakhon is the tallest building in Thailand. It opened in December 2016 and has become a landmark of the capital city Bangkok (Krungthep). The tower is the shape of a square prism with the appearance of a rough spiral with cuboidal surfaces cut into the side of the building. The building features a pixelated ribbon that swirls around the exterior, peeling back its surface layer to expose an inner layer with balconies. The glass walls are divided horizontally and vertically, adding to the building's "pixelated" appearance (from Wikipedia). MiniWorld3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to the people of Bangkok. This model was created from scratch in parametric software to ensure pristine clean 3D printing.
