Mailbox Newspaper Tube

I needed to replace the newspaper tube on a letterbox, so I designed and printed one. The newspaper tube is designed for attachment to a nominal 100mm (4 inch) square post using 1/8 inch diameter flat-bottom screws. The Newspaper Tube is 100mm diameter and 300mm long. The v02 version of the newspaper tube should be printed on a large-format filament printer with a print height of at least 300mm. Print the tube in a vertical orientation with a brim, no supports, and an infill of about 10% to 25%. If you have a smaller format printer, then use the v03 version. Print one body and two ends. Use similar print settings as per the v02 version. There is a nominal 0.8mm clearance between the pieces. You may need to file/sand the mating surfaces to fit. The fit depends on your printer, printer settings and the particular filament you are using. Use epoxy to join the components. The Mailbox Newspaper Tube was designed in ViaCAD.
