Seeed has the Maixduino available with a camera and display for less than a quarter. You can do realtime image recognition. There is a youtube of taking a copy of a pretrained network and training it further with the specific image you want it to identify and it is must faster than doing all the training yourself. This is a case to hold the pieces together.
