Makarov Magazine Base Locking Plate

I had a friend ask me to design him a replacement part for his Makarov pistol magazine. This is the piece that directly sits on the spring, but has a tiny lip that holds on the cover you slide on. I found that replicating the design exactly didn't function (this piece wouldn't slide forward after you slid cover on all the way. So I simply made this replacement part longer. The easiest way to install is to insert follower, then the spring in the correct orientation. Now compress the spring and slide the cover plate on most of the way. Lastly, just slide this replacement plate in between the spring and the cover, with the lip facing the correct way, and slide the cover back all the way and it should be locked up nice!
