Maker Farm 6'' Prusa i3 Cooling System

This part was created by me to be used on a 6" Prusa i3 from Maker Farm (www.makerfarm.com). In this kit, the original 40mm fan was designed to avoid heating the upper part of the extruder. But without controlling the direction of the blow, the original kit was cooling the heated head and the object that was being printed in the bed, causing some warping. This cooling chamber allows just to cool the upper part of extruder and keeping the blow of air away of the print, conducting it upwards. This is made of 3 parts: 1 - The fan conductor - it's 40x40mm, and made to connect the fan to the extruder, conduct the blow of air towards the chamber, and hold the chamber in place. 2 - The cooling chamber - this directs the fan blow of air to the heat-sink part of the extruder head, and after that, the wind exits the chamber from the front. 3 - Chamber's Cover - You don't have to disassemble the extruder because of this cover. It's made to perfectly fit the chamber. This closes the chambers gap. Check the instructions to assembling. Instructions 1 - I print all 3 parts (I used ABS in 0.1mm resolution, it contains small details). 2 - Place the Chamber Cover behind the thinner part of the extruder head. 3 - Unscrew any end-stop screws of the x carriage. Slide-in the cooling chamber, connecting it to the cover, that is already there. I've found a little trickier to connect these parts. 4 - Screw back the end-stop screws. They will hold the chamber in place. 5 - Pick the fan and the fan conductor with 2 longer screws (19mm/0.74in.), and screw them in the upper holes. Check if the two indentations in the back of the fan conductor are holding the cooling chamber in place. These to indentations ware made to this. 6 - Screw the other two screws.
