Maker Mask Outgoing Air Pod

This is a front valve air filter pod for the MakerMask (https://www.makermask.com/). This pod is an extra modification that I created to help cover the outgoing air valve with a filter. It is not a part of the original Maker Mask project. Version 1 of the filter cover "fits" on the existing front valve cover. However, it does not create a great seal and can be a bit loose. I recommend this version to retrofit existing front valve assemblies. Version 2 of the filter cover is designed to better fit with the modified front valve cover (Front Valve Cover v2). These versions have sloped surfaces to better lock into place. The filter guards are available in different sizes depending on your filter material. ***Version 2.1 of the front valve cover was added to correct the orientation of the side grooves. Version 2.1 of the Outlet Air Filter Cover was added to build some strength to the bottom clip. If it is a tight fit, you may need to shave a bit of material on either the valve cover or the filter cover clip. Please use this version for the v2 setup. Version 2.2 of the Outlet Air Filter Cover was added with wedges on the inside clips to help prevent them from snapping during filter change To install, simply cut filter material to fit into the main filter cover. Place the material in your filter cover and clip in an appropriately sized filter guard. The pod assemble slides onto the front valve (either version) from the top down. It is best to assemble after the side filters are fitted. For any COVID/Med PPE related project, please take appropriate measures to sanitize your work space. Use gloves, mask, shield, and do not assembly/deliver if you or someone in your home is ill. This filter pod provides some additional protection, but has not been reviewed by any governing authority. Since making this cover, Maker Mask has developed a newer version of the front valve assembly to include a filter inside the mask. If you would like to print the pod I loaded here, you will need the Maker Mask v3.27 valve, retention ring, and grommet. It is possible this will work with other versions, but this is the version I was working off when I designed the pod.
