Maker Ultimate 3d Spool with Bearings
thingiverse
Simple Remix of enclosure mounted spool for the Monoprice Ultimate 3d. The stock spool is too short to accommodate 1kg spools and a regular spool is too heavy to feed smoothly. Buy some 660z bearings and a 5" M8 or 5/16" hex bolt for the axle. Cap it with an acorn nut. This was modified from the first spool I downloaded. I can't find the original maker, but if you see this, give me a shout! Thanks. Print Settings Printer: Ultimate 3d Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 10% Notes: I used supports when printing, but the did gunk up a small portion of the threads. Easy to clean up, but maybe try printing vertically? Post-Printing
