The mounting system fits into the top gantry where the standard filament tube is inserted. Then, insert the filament tube into the holder at the top of the wiper mechanism. To minimize mess when switching filaments, cut a piece of absorbent sponge material to size and guide the filament through it as needed. To manufacture the part: Print with two external shells and 10% internal filling. Supports are obligatory. The filter can be produced either in an upright or horizontal orientation, depending on personal preference - with one of the round attachments at the top and one facing down. Horizontal production often results in more perfectly rounded features but increases the amount of support material to remove afterwards.
