The Makerbot Replicator 2 has a design flaw where it continuously flexes its cables at a sharp angle until the metal in the wires fatigues and breaks. This modification/repair adds a cable chain to limit the angle of flex and allow the cables to last longer. I also replaced a section of the cables with ribbon cable designed for robotics. This thing contains the brackets necessary for this fix, and uses my previously published cable chain: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2561280 Cable ties, screws connectors and ribbon cable are all purchased parts. These parts were printed on a Taz 6 as the Makerbot was not functional at the time due to broken wires.
