thingiverse
This set of components is designed specifically for building your own enclosure around the MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printer. Its main purpose is to prevent print curling caused by cross-flow air currents. The kit consists of 12 printed parts that work together to hold three pieces of polycarbonate against the sides of the frame. Key features of this set include: - Indexed rear corner indents that fit snugly over existing Makerbot+ screw heads, keeping the sides securely in place. - Hinges that allow for easy opening and closing of the front panel downwards. - Magnetic plus friction clasps that keep the front panel firmly in position when raised. - Tabs designed specifically for opening the front panel with ease. - Conformed front corners that fit perfectly into the Makerbot+ chassis design. - A ".print" file is included, allowing you to print these components using the standard head on a MakerBot Replicator+.
