Spool holder is a typical thread rod on two stands. But the multi-tool base provide you a strong base for your 3D printer to add wide variety of gadgets (spool holders, camera, filament cleaner...) Instructions I had problems with spool holder for long period of time but non of ideas were suitable for me. I designed a makerbot multi-tool base, that snaps on the frame of the printer, to attach a spool holder, and made it strong enough to be able to hold other things. Now anyone can make any type gadget holder or any type of spool holder and mount it on this base.
