This lamp is made using a MakerBot filament spool, a scanned balloon, a drinking bird and a bottle lamp kit. Video at: http://youtu.be/1xrD5MDS4wg Instructions Print the balloon at maximum scale, 0% fill and 3 shells. Stop at 96% and remove from the platform. Drill a 1 1/2" hole in the bottom of the balloon. Spool Center should be printed on its edge at maximum size. Drill a one inch diameter hole in the MakerBot spool to accept the plug from the Bottle Lamp Kit #0042925 from Lowes. I used a 4.5 watt LED lamp #0477033 Utilitech from Lowes. I acquired the drinking bird from Amazon. Use the bottle lamp instructions and the pictures for assembly.
