MakerDays (http://www.makerdays.nl/home) is an event which will be held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands on March 26-30 2014, with the objective to connect both professional manufacturers and passionate makers. MakerDays asked me to create a 3d version of their logo, printable on all kinds of printers, including FDM printers like Ultimakers and Makerbots. A very cool part of the project is that MakerDays teamed up with 3D Hubs (http://www.3dhubs.com), the largest network of 3d-printers in the world, to have makers all around the world print the object and photograph themselves with it in front of a local landmark - really showing off the power of distributed manufacturing. So far, we have not only Eindhoven but Rio, New York, Moscow, Antwerp and many other cities in the house... will you add yours?
