MakerFarm Pegasus E3D Titan Mount

A mount for the excellent E3D Titan and MakerFarm Pegasus, with a metal X carriage, optionally, with an 18mm inductive probe mount. I have provided versions both with and without the probe mount and both 20mm and 48mm long NEMA 17 motors. I use a 20mm pancake motor with the Titan. It works flawlessly and makes for a lighter X axis. The supplied STLs have a 5mm thick plate for mounting the Titan and the motor. I find that this works well with Isograph's Titan Radial Fan Mount and the long mounting screws supplied with the Titan. I did have to use a 10mm M3 bolt (instead of the supplied 8 or 12mm) to secure the bottom right titan mount point to the motor. The motor length, motor tolerance and mount plate thickness are configurable. The OnShape document has these dimensions exposed as variables that you can copy and then change to suit your requirements. After tweaking these dimensions, you can export the mount, and optionally the probe mount, as STL. Probe offsets for Marlin firmware are -36mm X, -26m Y for the 20mm motor and -36mm X, -52mm Y for a 48mm motor. If you have the 8mm lead screw upgrade then you will lose about 2cm of printable area. I man make another version of the titan mount with the motor offset towards the X idler to regain this lost area. Print Settings Printer: MakerFarm 10 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 85% Notes: I printed in PETG with 85% infill. If printing in ABS or PLA then the infill can be much lower.
