This makes a solid bridge between the spool holder and that set screw that has caused me trouble. There is a rectangular hole on the one side, which the reel hook goes through, and there is a round recess further over, which the set screw is intended to rest in, thus creating a bridge bracket for the filament spool, which guards against the screw getting caught up on the reel, and also keeps the filament straight/square with the frame (which was the screw's initial purpose) My model of the MakerFarm Pegasus 10" came with an (wood) spool holder on the top Fram bar, and about 4-5" to the right of that holder, there is a bracing screw also mounted to the to of the frame. This screw seems to want to act like some sort of spool alignment bit, so that the spool stay straight/square with the frame when it is slowly turning. Well, that screw has screwed me a few times, by getting caught in the spokes of the filament spool, making it not able to turn. The result is, of course, the filament snaps mid-print and the print fails. This model is designed to fix that issue
