Makerfarm Print Ejector

I wanted to make my printer more automated so I created a ram to attach to the x carriage in order to hit prints off. My first thought was to ram in towards the front of the printer but, this requires either the printer to be supported with enough of a gap for prints to fall in a bin or a piece of paper attached to the bed to prevent the part from getting stuck(like on this post I found http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?1,216570 ). My second thought was to ram it off side of the machine. I added gcode to the gcode that runs when the print is finished a print is finished. credit for the side of the x carriage I modified to clough42. ;called at end of print G28 ; home all axis G4 P600000 ; wait ten minutes G1 X300 F6000 ; move x carriage back G1 Y140 F6000 ; alight the middle of the bed with ram G1 X0 F6000 ; ram the print with the x axis ;start next print Videos
