Makerfarm Snap-on LED Mounting Tray

I have been using adhesive backed LED strips to light up my print bed on my Makerfarm Prusa i3v 8" printer but the adhesive failed and the strips fell into my print. I wanted to design a clip on, light weight tray to glue the LED strips down firmly, without having to glue them directly to my carriage frame. Behold, the finished product! Here are the strip leds I am using. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Q907EW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) This design is not compatible with auto bed leveling systems but the left side of this design has been remixed by user dm303102 for compatibility with auto bed leveling, leaving space for a servo. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:581876 UPDATE 11/24/2014 As of today, this part is confirmed to be compatible with clough42's Improved Hexagon Cooling Shroud system: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:335613 Instructions This add on is printed in 3 pieces and you simply glue them together, with the back slotting on to the top of the left and right side grooves. Next, cut and glue your LEDs on, then loosen the screws on the left and right side of your x carriage, press them on to the screw shafts, and tighten the screws back down. I recommend printing this part in ABS due to it's proximity to the hotend. User voodoo28 reported that his PLA printed version started melting while printing a different ABS print. Melting will not occur with ABS. Enjoy!
