MakerGear Bed-Mounted Camera Arm

MakerGear Bed-Mounted Camera Arm

This model is an adjustable arm for a Raspberry Pi camera. The mating arm takes the place of the rubber bumper on the front right corner of a MakerGear M2 or M3 bed. The middle arm adjusts the distance from the camera to the bed and the camera arm adjusts the viewing angle as well as the distance. As the printer is in an enclosure, it is a bit tricky to keep the camera far enough away from the bed to avoid collisions with the hot ends in front of it and the enclosure door behind. There are some superfluous appendages from an earlier, spring-loaded version. I haven't bothered to remove them. The only way to get decent time-lapses of prints is to ride along with the build surface. This isn't pretty, but it works.
