Makergear M2 Spool Holder

This is an alternate design spool holder for the Makergear M2 3d Printer. it works with every spool I have found and i think I have ordered from everyone is seems. The original spool holder design relies on the flange on the spool being in good shape. This fixes that requirement. It uses all the original hardware to mount. And requires no modifications to the printer. I printed mine in PLA and it has no problem with a 5lb spool. It is designed to use 1/2 schedule 40 PCV tube cut to 5 1/2" for the extension piece. (You can buy a 4 foot long piece for about $1.25 at your local Menard, Lowes). I included a .stl for the tube if you want to print it. I printed all parts required in under an hour. Instructions Remove the original center piece and spool holders. remove the steel rod from the old center piece and put it in the new one. Install the new center piece on your machine. Put the pvc tube in the center piece and put the new spool cap on the end of that. ***Added a .stl for mini spools.(17.5mm-tube) It should work for all spools with a center hole over 17.5 mm.
