This is my take on customizing the @giacowhatever MakerKnife.

As I do a lot of 3D printing it was clear to me that I would end up customizing my MakerKnife using my 3D printer.

And that I did.

I took a scan of the top plate of the maker knife and imported it to Fusion360 (file is included if you want to customize it).

All I then had to do is correct the scan using measurements of the real thing, that I took with my calipers.

Then extrude and voilà :)

I printed this plate as a full but didn't like it.

Luckily there are a lot of fill patterns so I removed the top full layers and let the infill show.

That's all.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

20

Notes:

2 Base Layers

2 Outer Shells

Custom Infill

No Top Layer

Category: Hand Tools
