The MakerScanner, an open-source 3D scanning tool, is ideal for use with a MakerBot or similar 3D printer as it features parts printable on these devices. Recently, I also integrated components with varied tolerances for compatibility with Stratasys 3D printers. Notably, the distance between the camera and laser is 19.8cm (refer to ScanThread.cpp line 28 in source code).
