Making prototype of Prusa Air 2

Making prototype of Prusa Air 2

thingiverse

Starting with 1/4" MDF from Home Depot, I've created printed parts using my Prusa Mendel printer, with plans to have it functional or awaiting electronics by New Year. An included STL showcases an angle bracket design, thinner than Mecanos for material savings. The result is a fully-functional and attractive product, photographed at i3Detroit.com hackerspace. Standard Prusa movement and extruder parts were used, preferably with lm8uu. Electronics include a RAMPS board, Sprinter firmware, slic3r.org GCODE, and Repsnapper hosting.
