Makita 2040 dust collector attachment

This replaces the top guard of the Makita 2040 planer with a 4" dust collection attachment. I've also seen versions with the dust hose coming in from the side that allows the guard and top rollers to remain in place which might work better for some. My DC hose drops from the ceiling so this was a better design for me. Print two of these and stick them together (RTV silicone worked well for me). The piece is designed to be printed with the parting line of the two parts facing down (supports not needed). The tabs were meant to integrate with the mounts for where the guard went but in reality it didn't work as planned. I cut a few small wedges out of wood and stuck them in the gaps on either side of the attachment and it stays put just fine.
