Makita Driver Bit Holster with Strong Bit Retention

<p>I've tried a few of the bit holsters out there but none seem to have worked for me. They are either too big/bulky, too loose, or too tight, so I set out to design my own. &nbsp;I did a couple driver bit handles recently with a strong bit retention feature that worked well, so I transferred that geometry to this holster design. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>FYI, those driver bit handles are here:</strong></p><p><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/176134-stubbs-chubbs-driver-bit-handles">Stubbs &amp; Chubbs</a></p><p><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/177993-stella-bella-driver-handles">Stella &amp; Bella</a></p><p>This design is compact, fits bits well and keeps them in place. I've tested this on four different Makita driver models and they all fit well - with No interference with the battery. &nbsp;</p><p>i also went a home improvement store and tried it on several other Makita 18V LXT tools and they fit too, so fitting yours is almost guaranteed!</p><p><strong>Things you'll also need:</strong></p><ol><li>M4x12 pan head screw to mount it to the Makita driver</li></ol><p>Print in PETG with orientation as shown, and no supports needed.</p><p><strong>Additional Comments:</strong></p><ol><li>@NeoHeldt tried it in TPU, which I thought would be interesting, since it offers some flexibility if or when you bang into things during use.</li></ol><p>If you download or add this model to your collection, please click the <strong>LIKE </strong>button and give it some <strong>STARs</strong>!</p><p>Also please post a make as I would enjoy seeing you get good use out of it - it would make my day! :-D</p><p><strong>Happy Printing!</strong></p>
