I keep my Makita Guide Rail in a bag. Recently, I've noticed that the splinter guard on the rail is deformed around the place it is strapped to the bag. So I used [the makita guide rail model](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3064176) to design a small cover which protects the splinter guard from any pressure made by those bag straps. **Printing tips** Guide rail caps can be printed without any support. I used 2mm shell so the final part is a solid piece of plastic. The splinter guard cover should be printed on the side and it needs support due to an extended edge. However it is very easy to remove the support after the print. To fully protect your rail you will need: - 1x rail guide left cap - 1x rail guide right cap - 2x splinter guard cover
