Makita Palm Sander Shop Vac Attachment

This is an attachment for a Makita BO4550 palm sander, so that you can hook it up to a ShopVac / shop vacuum. I think there's also a BO4551 that is probably pretty similar, if I'm not mistaken, so, this might work on that as well. It fits a bit snugly, and I wasn't quite able to figure out how to make the middle part of it thicker, but it looks promising so far. That is, I haven't actually tried sanding with it connected just yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. (You can see in the photos that it fits on both devices fine.) UPDATE: Please see comments -- this unfortunately doesn't hold up even to light use, and needs to be improved before it can feasibly be used. How I Designed This I used OpenSCAD to create the model.
