<p>Okay, so I got fed up with the tool mounts available, and did this one.</p> <p>It's printed in 2 parts. One is the arm that holds the pen. It covers a 45° arc and has 2 thin arms that should be flexy but keep the pen parallel to the cylinder wall.</p> <p>The other part is a 65mm ring with a cutout to hold the pen arm in place if the ring itself is constrained. There are tabs in the ring to hold it in place. It also features a 5mm slot for the locating pin, as well as cog teeth for the height adjustment gear.</p> <p>Note that there are no guarantees that the pen will be in the center. It will be<em>if</em> the pen is 12mm in diameter where you zip tie it to the arm.</p> <p>This will clamp into the router base for the LowRider, or you can fit it to the tool mount ring for the MPCNC. There are no ridges so it is dependent on clamping friction. You might need a sheet of paper around the ring to enforce this.</p> <p>Instructions:</p> <p>Print the 2 pieces.</p> <p>Zip tie the pen to the pen arm first. It will be awkward after the 2 parts are fitted together.</p> <p>The ring has one side with a gap for the pen arms. Fit the arm to the ring, it should be a fairly tight fit, but is designed to fit within the 65mm circle.</p> <p>Slide the whole assembly into your tool holder, or into the Makita router base on your LowRider.
