Designed a new Makita RT700 router for my Openbuild C-beam cnc as I do not like the original bracket. There was too much slack and movement in the original bracket, which meant that I had major problems milling aluminum. After I mounted the new bracket, it was noticeably stiffer and I managed to mill aluminum on the first try. See picture of test milling on scrap plate.
