Makita Trim Router Base Plate

<p>A larger 125mm base plate for Makita cordless and corded trim routers (RT0702C/DRT50/XTR01/RT001G/GTR01). This base plate has a couple of advantages over the stock circular base plate: it provides more stability as it's bigger, and it's perfectly circular so you don't need to worry about the orientation of the router when following a fence or edge.</p><p>Inspired by <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/30477-makita-rt0700-extended-circual-base,">https://www.printables.com/model/30477-makita-rt0700-extended-circual-base,</a> though this one has same hole and guide bushing inset as the stock base (I did reduce the clearance on the guide bushing slightly for a tight fit).</p><p>For the smoothest bottom surface print with the text up, but you'll need supports for the guide bushing inset.</p><p>If you print with the text down then supports are not necessary but you might want to enable ironing on the top surface to improve the smoothness.</p>
