Several mounts for the Maksoutvo MAK 1000 Telescope Lense: Manfrotto - Mount has standard footprint of Manfrotto adapter plates Vanguard - Mount has standard footprint of Vanguard adapter plates Prismenschiene - Mount has standard footprint for generic telescope mounts The pictrures show the Manfrotto version. Actually I am working on a motorized version - see this print of a prototype. Unfortunately I didn't find a suitable motor yet... Either the are too huge or to flimsy :-) https://youtu.be/kGWjyDfcP7U Print Settings Printer: Prusa I3 Berlin Rafts: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: min 50% Notes: I printed it using 1.75mm PLA, 0.2mm layer height and 50% infill and a minimum of 2mm wall thickness - with thinner walls you risk to crack at least the mounts for Manfrotto and Vangaurd when locking the mounting plates in place. Turns out to hold rocksolid on as well a Manfrotto tripod as a SkyWatcher telescope mount. The Vanguard tripod I used is much cheaper than the Manfrotto and has a slight wobble to it, which of course can't be compensated by the mount itself. Anyways - I usually use either the Manfrotto tripod or the SkyWatcher Mount, which gives good results as can be seen here: https://youtu.be/TH_zorpeElc Post-Printing Requirements and Mounting You will need two 1/4" photographic allen head bolts to screw the lense to the mount. Hard to find in non-UK, say "metric" ;-), Europe - I've got mine here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/2x-1-4-Kameraschraube-15mm-Fotoschraube-Stativschraube-Zoll-camera-screw-/321825800168 They also sell the matching allen wrench... When will the world finally be redeemed from this archaic imperial stuff??? :-I
