This is my MK3 carriage for a single extruder for the Malayan M180. I removed the left hand extruder, except for the fan, and thirmister (for some reason it will not work if you remove this) and used the right hand heating block and the filament guide. You will also need, a 60mm long hot end extruder guide, and a length of aluminum bar 90mm long by 4mm thick. This is the heat sink and mount for the hot end extruder. Drilled and tapped in the centre to M6 with two 6mm mounting holes to attach to the carriage. I used some M4 brass threaded inserts but you could use nuts and bolts. I also use M3 inserts to mount the fan. You will have to adjust the Z axis stop sensor to level the bed, as the heating block protrudes slightly than on the original carriage. For the filament drive I used a metal Bowden type, which is cheaply available on EBay etc. and used the left hand fan to cool the stepper motor. This was then fitted to the printer casing above the filament spool, using some scrap aluminum angle. The whole thing took about 4hrs to complete and set up but the results are worth it. It is much easier to load filament, the prints are great and I can now reach higher temperatures.
