See my website spencerworkman.net for more information and details on this project and for more projects! I made these gauntlets mostly from scratch, but used a few parts and ideas from the gauntlet shown in the remix section. The whistling birds: I'm giving one option to have the birds pre-installed with one missing (designed to look used). I'm giving another option to print it blank and install as many birds as you want, or birds of different design. For both gauntlets: The main frames of the gauntlets are cut in half so it can print without supports. Just print them both and then glue them together. The braces are made to be sewn together using 10mm elastic bands. The top brace should be glued to the main part of the gauntlet. For the left gauntlet: Glue the whistling birds and the heat sink to the main gauntlet frame. The flamethrower parts should just fit in it but you may want to glue them as well. The gauntlet is designed to fit a 6mm LED between the main frame and the whistling birds. For the right gauntlet, insert the knife prior to gluing on the top. The blade is manual, and if you get the spring in right the knife should stay in until you push it sideways and out. For safety reasons, I didn't design an extension stop so if you try to stab something it retracts.
