Mandolin Arm Rest

Mandolin Arm Rest

thingiverse

My default playing position is to rest my arm on the tailstock, which the sharp corner tends to dig in, I created this arm rest to make playing more comfortable. My tailstock is 45mm wide. I printed this in TPU, support is a bit tricky, so I created the support block and I slide it in when Z height is 4mm, so the supported surface is smooth and even. I apply Magigoo Flex on the support block so it can peel off after the print is done (without Magigoo it would fuse together). Finally, I used double sided tape to secure a piece of leather to make it even more comfortable. Enjoy.
