Mandolin bridge

Mandolin bridge

thingiverse

I got tired of buying new rosewood mandolin bridges after they split along the grain, so I designed a printable replacement for the top section. This fits on 3mm posts that are 58mm apart (measured from the center of the post). You could probably adjust the model's width in your slicer if you need to extend or shorten to fit your bottom section. To my ear, there is no noticeable difference in tone with the 3D printed bridge vs. the rosewood bridge, and unlike the rosewood, the printed version doesn't bow under the tension of the strings. I printed in PLA+ with 100% infill for maximum strength.
