Mandolin based loosely on an early "A" model Gibson, with oval sound hole. As I don't have one myself, though would really like to own one of these. Grabcad has this model : Gibson A4 Mandolin of a latter Gibson "A" Mandolin from the mid 50's. The Gibson mandolins and banjos made before WW2 are by far the best they ever made, and as I have an interest in Celtic music early "A" model Gibson mandolins are perfect for my musical interest.
