This adapter was created by operandi It's a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:20985 This remix adds a bolt hole that a hexagonal bolt can fit in, without turning. It also adds a beveled ridge that a camera could rest on. -I made it for an 11mm bolt that fits a Canon camera thread. The bolt was about 23mm long, or 19mm without the bolt head. -It's customizeable in OpenSCad, and you must change the variables in there so they match the type of bolt you have. -It's nice and configurable, but vernier calipers are highly recommended to set it up for your bolt type. I used 0.1mm for the layer height, but it wouldn't be too critical. The slanted edges need to slide in the tripod, though. You can use supports so the hexagonal hole prints well, but they could be hard to remove. It's worth using them if you can For a strong print, I recommend having line width at 125 - 150% of the nozzle. For 0.4mm, that's 0.5 - 0.6mm line width
