I'm making a mill. Decided to go with this one:http://makeyourbot.org/mantis9-1 the spindle is essential obviously, I decided to print the housing for it instead of layering wood. http://makeyourbot.org/low-cost-spindle-2-0 Instructions print 2 halves. I have slightly compensated for squishing them on the platform since the pic. assemble pieces inside, slide into the base and add cable ties, optionally. there are 2 bolt holes that just so happen to line up with reprap extruder carriages.
