I happen to have a 5:1 block and tackle pulley set and some ladders, so I knocked up this idea for a lifting device to take stuff like roof tiles or buckets of mortar up a floor. The idea is to use screwed and glued plywood. When I get some time I'll try and make one... on the off-chance that it works!
