Update - I made <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2756502">Many Formicarums 2</a> at the link. (I just realized this link was wrong before) I probly won't finish this anytime soon, but it has good resources to make your own designs. *Sorry for the long description, I might also fix this sometime.* !!!!The files not in zips are just for pictures, they are duplicates!!!! I've made a bunch of smaller formicarums out of chopped up pieces of the design from Triplicator. I made these mainly because i wanted the top to not cover the cotton, for easy changing and watering but i got carried away and made all these. Some of these may be a bit small for some people, but i don't have any big colony's yet, and i like to be able to take sections off if they get too much garbage or get mold or something. All the information is below Test Grid - All of these use a small grid instead of the holes in the original designs. It seems to work better for me. Does anyone like the holes better? Everyone should be able to print this but you can test it with this. Small Chamber V2 - The top is the same size as small chamber cross. Also there is a top for the water hole. Not sure how useful it is but i included it for all chambers. Small Chamber Cross V2 - A Cross Section. The arrangement of male and female seems to work best for me. maybe i'll make another in the future? Large Chamber V3 - The openings are straight across long ways. The top is the same size as V4 and V5. Large Chamber V4 - The openings are straight across short ways only on one side. Large Chamber V5 - Same as V4 but with a third opening on the long way. The green ones in the pictures. Xl Chamber - My version of Dantius's remix. My verison has smaller walls, a flat floor and several other improvements. I meant to make it the same size, but i ended up making it 2 mm bigger on the inside. I may fix it in the future, but this is it for now. V1H - the only one with the heating cable slot V2 - has a third opening on the bottom. M for male, F for female. V3 - has two openings on the bottom. 2 male or 2 female. It should work well with cross sections. <i>Note - All of the tops may need a bit of sanding to fit right, <i> Tube Adaptors - I may move these at a later time, but for now they are part of this. these are for 3/8 tubing(I said 1/4 inch before, I was wrong). There are also some end stops with vents if anyone wants them. Sorry there is so much in this one post, but at least i posted it. Extras - Make you own Formicarum! I included the cut up pieces and blank chambers so you can make your own design. The files are all in Microsoft's 3d builder. It might not be the best program, but it's real easy to use, and can import stl's. You could also export them as obj if you want to use something else.
