Mario/Mario Kart Terrain (Gaslands Variant)

These models were created to be used as terrain to play Gaslands with a Mario Kart twist (pictured in the second photo). The rules variant that inspired these can be found in the "Files" section of the Gaslands Facebook group. After a 'once-through' playing the game with Stuart Kelly's rules variant as-is, I modified those rules even a bit further to fit my group's desired experience. (I can provide those changes if you are interested.Just post a note in the comments.) This is all scaled at 70% of normal Gaslands size to match the game pieces from Mario Kart Monopoly that were used for player karts. I also used 70% scaled templates to align with the Micro Machines scale recommendation from the Gaslands Refueled book. If you want to play at full scale with the new Mario Kart cars from Hot Wheels, just scale these models up to 140-150% before printing. The "Pipe Fill"s are only required for the ones with Piranha Plants, but you could use them (upside-down) if you don't want empty pipes. The only change that I made were to cut it in half and cut in reference holes for alignment, so that the face can show on both sides but be printed without supports. I am also modelling a few other pieces for future additions, including: Start/Finish Line Pylon, Mushrooms (for tokens), Goombas ShyGuys and Toads (for audience members), & Bullet Bills and/or Monty Moles for other track hazards.
