I laser cut these out of polyester stencil sheet. Note these stencils are the exact shape of the background faces, but after cutting they won't quite fill up the space because of the laser kerf. Planter_faces2.pdf has the same faces sized slightly larger to perfectly fit the spaces (when cut on my laser cutter-- your kerf may be different) I painted the background areas black all over the model, then, one face at a time, I pressed the stencil over the painted area, taped it down on the sides, and then painted that face. Then I removed the stencil and moved onto the next face. I found that it was easiest to only do one face at a time so that I could tape the edges well. [Pro tip that I learned from youtube, when working with craft paints a hair dryer will dry the paint almost immediately, so I never had to wait long for things to dry] Stencil sheet available at https://www.johnsonplastics.com/12-x-24-polyester-stencil-sheet
