Markers for 30 Days to Mars

The marker tokens are okay for 30 Days to Mars; however, I wanted a ship that looked more like it was from 2001 than Star Wars. After playing around with cleaning up various models of the Discovery I decided to simply build my own. This printed nicely for me on my Prusa I3. And as long as I was at it, I decided to redo and play with making easy to remove supports in MeshMixer. Everything printed just fine on my FDM printer, but I suspect they'd look amazing when printed on a resin printer. The ship isn't intended to be the Discovery, but rather something that had similar lines to it. There are slightly more details on it if you enlarge it; however, this is an object that was intended to be printed at a fairly small scale on an FDM printer. The solar fins at the back were initially intended as removable supports to increase the surface area for printing; however, I really liked the look so I'm not removing them. On the front of the Habitat Sphere, you can see the echoes of the Discovery. The bridge windows, the three pod launch bays, and the all important port airlock. The ship has three thin supports that can be left in place for added 'widgetness'. Please note that the game is **really** hard to get ahold of, I don't know why as it seems to be a pretty easy game with a low entry bar. It is worth the effort to find it. I've marked this as a work in progress simply because I'm likely to add more parts as time goes by. After playing around with the size a bit, I revised the scale by 150%. Additionally, I made two different stands so you can have it in different orientations.
