Marking Gauge

I was looking for a DIY marking gauge for a new steel ruler. While searching thingiverse i found this one made by user "WayofWood". I decided to design it by myself as a little Freecad (0.19) training. Instead of the nail i decided to use M3 screw and nut. It took me 5 prints to get the perfect measures but now it works flawless \o/. Update 30th Dec 22: I also uploaded my FreeCad files for your use. Following dimensions can be set in the Spreadsheet: - Ruler Width - Ruler Width Tolerance (for better sliding of the ruler) - Ruler Thickness - Ruler Thickness Tolerance (for better sliding of the ruler) - Screw Diameter (+0.5mm will be added automatically) - >4 is not recommended Feedback on the freecad files are highly appreciated :)
With this file you will be able to print Marking Gauge with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Marking Gauge.
