Thanks for downloading. Make SURE YOU PRINT THE CORRECT ONE! 18 mm for the blue aftermarket nozzle. 25 mm for the standard K40 Head. I made these air assist holders for a small acetylene tip, For a year, I used a standard small aquarium air pump until it finally died. Upgraded to a piston version. Any small tube (copper or Brass) will work. Here are 2 mounts for an Air Assist tube. The Tube I used was 4.7mm, however, smaller ones will fit using the set screw. There are 2 screws needed. One to secure to the head, one to secure the tube. Just self thread the screws into the holes. The 18mm is for the Blue aftermarket head that has a 18mm shaft after the junk nozzle is removed. There is no need for the nozzle as the tube will do the job much better. The Flat end goes against the rail. The 25 mm version is for the standard head. (if you can call anything about the k40 standard) Since there is so much variations on the cheap milling of the china products, you may have to use a bit of sandpaper to clear out the hole to fit. You may have to flatten the side against the rail, but this did fit on my machine. If you do not have a laser pointer, The air assist tube should be about 3mm above your focal point of contact with the material. At the angle of the tube, the air is injected right at the point of laser contact in the groove. You will find that you can turn down the power and get better cuts. In some cases I do not use air assist with cast acrylic. It pushes dust out of the raster areas. It is a preference. I printed these with ABS at .2mm height and on my Mars Pro Resin. Both expand and shrink to heat hence the set screws. I am not sure how PLA will stand with the heat.
