Marlin 795 trigger guard support / bedding fix / action screw support

Hello fellow Marlin 795 owner! The stock 795 has a design flaw around the rear action screw. The screw does not go through the stock but uses the reciever and the plastic trigger guard to clamp onto the stock (like a C-clamp). If you happen to apply even the slightest amount of torque to the screw you will bend and eventually break the trigger guard (I did and I've read it's quite common). My part is placed between trigger guard and reciever. It ensures that even when you try to overtighten the screw you won't be able to bend the trigger guard, because the force generated will just try to compress my part. It's a support for your trigger guard, it's that simple! The space is not used in the original design so the part does not impede with function; however any modification can have unforseen consequences so I can't vouch for this being safe or working. Decide for yourself, you're a grown-up :). Also the rifle gets a little trickier to put back together after cleaning but you'll manage. The part is asymmetrical; print fat end down and install fat end up (towards reciever). The "flared" side (the face that is not perpendicular to the reciever/trigger guard when installed) must point towards the muzzle. Pictures of how to install the part will follow soon!
