The comb height on the Marlin XS7 rifle is way too low for good cheek weld when using a scope. What is puzzling is that there is no provision for iron sight, only scope, yet the comb is at least 1/2" too low. Using photographs of tracings of the stock profile in Fusion 360 I created this design. It attaches to the stock using double sided mirror tape for no marring. The ideal additional comb height on my rifle is a 14mm and this thing adds that. Scope mounted is a Leopold 3-9x40 VX-1. Snap shooting is now easily consistent as I don't need to search for the reticle when in the field hunting as it lines up automatically with a good cheek fit.
