was busy for these past few weeks doing some 3d modelling and printing the frame box, battery mount, legs, and springs fpr a Coaxial RC helicopter electronics and a small drone wifi flight camera were then added to complete the setup. The coaxial rotor head uses a diy'ed dual swashplate bell hiller rotor mechanism to allow outdoor flights even with slight wind. A synchronized dual cyclic input from the upper and lower rotor blades minimizes blade strikes and allow both upper and lower blades to provide pitch and roll data for the entire platform. Included are the STL files for the frame, for the leg support, the foot for a 3mm carbon rod, and the leg spring. The parts are separate and need to be combined using CA glue which is usually stronger than the print itself. For the electronics, i am using the coaxial helicopter platform from a LAMA V4 including the electronics. the 4-in-1 ESC boards need to be separated for weight distribution and combined electronically using a servo connector. Default brushed motors need to be changed to a 9V-12V 180 size motors to accomodate a 3S LIPO battery (optimal size are those with 3S 450maH battery).
