The model is brought to you by Sketchfab and Microsoft, and modeled on a Surface Pro 3 that Microsoft provided for the task. This is actually just a sphere and some Sketchfab magic. All the real detail comes to you via http://planetpixelemporium.com/mars.html and the free-to-download diffuse and bump textures, but doesn’t it look super nice with that background? I’m going to try to recreate one of the landscapes as seen by the rovers. Stay tuned…
