Mars Robots

For a robotics class I was tasked with designing some fictional robots so I designed these. These bots are intended to be used for a mining Mars base autonomously before humans arrive. There are two configurations that use the same wheel base: an arm config and a mining config. The clearances are tight on the arm so that it will stay in place better. The mining conveyer belt looks best if you add rubber bands from the two long screws. Lock nuts work best for the parts that rotate so that the nuts do not spin-off. I included a bill of materials below for the assorted hardware. **Bill of Materials:** 17 x #6-32 1" screws 4 x #6-32 2" screws 4 x #6-32 2.5" screws 25 standard or nylon lock nuts **References:** Inspiration- https://www.raspberrypi.org/magpi/turtle-rover/ Wheel Design- https://grabcad.com/library/bel26-2
