Marushin M1 Garand Airsoft 6mm Clips

Spare 6mm airsoft clips are hard to find for the M1 Garand collectors GBBR. These plastic clips are significantly cheaper, sacrificial for field or worry-free use, and offer improved dimensions for better feeding/ejecting in the airsoft gun. Works only for the Marushin M1 Garand airsoft gas blowback rifle, with 6mm BBs only. The clip “wings” are tuned to fit better in the chamber without interfering with the striker rods. The original metal clips sometimes jerk against the valve knocker responsible for BB propulsion. The tuned dimensions of this clip also makes them significantly easier to insert, sit more securely, and eject with less contact with surrounding hardware. It's also very easy to print, with no supports necessary. Print all 4 parts with the flat side down. Turn on thin walls if necessary. PETG offers good durability/flexibility. PLA may be brittle on impact with the ground. More than 2 walls is not necessary. You may find a .25 nozzle will offer better print quality, but this print should work great with a 0.4 nozzle on a MK3s+ with default settings. Assemble with 4 M2x6 or M2x8 countersunk screws and some spring approximately 45mm long, <6mm in diameter. Old cut-up midcap springs should work as well. I found the best so far are spare Hi-Capa magazine follower springs. Their dimensions and spring rate is perfect for this application; cut about 8 rungs or so, enough to apply pressure on the follower at the topmost empty position, to give enough force to trip the Garand ejection feature.
